* The Opportunity:

** Aegon is offering a Customer Contact Apprenticeship designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a customer service role in the financial services industry.

* What you’ll do:

**** Engage with customers**. Provide exceptional service to our customers via phone, email, and chat addressing their inquiries and helping to resolve their requests.
** Learn and Grow:
** Receive comprehensive training and development including industry-recognised qualification (SCQF level 6 - Customer Service in Financial Services)
** Collaborate:
** Work closely with your team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

* What we’re looking for:

*** Maths at a National 4 level and English at a National 5 level
* A passion for customer service
* Good communication skills – verbal and written
* A strong motivation to learn and develop
* A permanent job offer upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, on condition that you’re meeting expectations in the role too
* Full support throughout your qualification.
* We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place.  We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%.  If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
* A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
* 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)

If that goes well and you are happy to progress, you will be invited to interview in person at our Edinburgh office on
