Your role will be to ensure UX and design thinking principles are integrated with digital content production at National Museums Scotland in order to continuously develop and improve our website and associated digital properties.
As a UX Content Producer at National Museums Scotland you will- Implement and utilise UX and design thinking principles within digital content production, and deliver output that cultivates audience engagement and supports the delivery of organisational strategic objectives
- Advise colleagues on suitable approaches and content formats for best performance and return on investment, which includes consideration of product and content life cycles, end-to-end user experience, entry points and cross-platform distribution
- Take a user-centred approach to content development, overseeing user testing and washups at key stages in the development cycle
- Draw on analytics, user feedback, and insights available, and where appropriate, commission reports and gather data as required
- Demonstrable understanding of the role of user-centred design principles in content design
- Experience with a range of web content management systems and web authoring tools
- Experience of running user testing for digital content and products
- Ability to interpret user statistics and feedback, and other evaluation metrics, to deliver enhanced digital content
