We are currently looking for 2 Groundworks Labourers for a civil engineering project in Central Edinburgh, starting 30th March 2026 for an initial 4-week contract.
This role will involve supporting a groundworks and civils team on site, assisting with a range of general labouring and groundwork duties.
Requirements- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Previous experience on groundworks or civils sites preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Assisting ground workers with drainage, ducting and trenching works
- Digging, back filling and compacting materials
- Moving and loading materials around site
- Supporting the installation of kerbing, paving, and foundations
- Keeping the site clean and safe, including general labouring tasks
- Assisting with setting up and dismantling temporary works or barriers
- Following instructions from the site supervisor or groundworks team
