Contracts Manager

Overview

I'm working with a reputable contractor with a long-standing presence in the Scottish market as they look to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Edinburgh based team.

They deliver fit-out, refurbishment, and new-build projects across a range of sectors including hotel and leisure, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and more. This role offers real project variety and the chance to oversee a wide spectrum of technically interesting schemes.

As Contracts Manager, you will be based out of their Livingston office, primarily covering projects across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Fife.

• Managing multiple construction projects across the east of Scotland.
• Overseeing project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
• Leading and supporting site teams, ensuring safety, quality and programme compliance.
• Building strong relationships with clients, design teams and stakeholders.
• Ensuring commercial and contractual obligations are met across all projects.
• Coordinating suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring best value procurement and smooth site operations.

• Well-rounded construction management experience covering fit-out, new-build, and refurbishment projects.
• Solid working knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors and the east-coast construction market.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
