Early Years Officer

Overview

Gracemount Primary Nursery welcomes an experienced Early Years Officer to support children to become confident, capable individuals and achieve their full potential. Officers will monitor the quality and impact of environments, plan and interact with children, and proactively develop and support teams to achieve best outcomes.

• model excellent communication skills and effective deployment of team members to meet children’s needs

• leadership experience in an Early Years setting
• regulation under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo its update check
• unconditional offer subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years requiring an Overseas Criminal Record Check

. Salary ranges reflect the starting salary and increase annually to the top of the range. Flexible working is available.
