Salary: £39,129 - £46,023

Hours:

36 per week, 52 weeks

An exciting opportunity has arisen within St Mark's RC Early Years & Childcare. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officer to join our team. About

the service

Our Early Years delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 2-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays. Our team consists of 2 Senior Early Years Officers, 4 Early Years Officers, 12 Early Years Practitioners, 3 Early Years Assistants, 2 Early Years Domestics and a part-time administrator. There are currently 81 children in our 3-5 rooms and 13 in our Terrific 2s.

Pre-employment

checks

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.

You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
