About the RoleThe Head of Pricing & Packaging owns our subscription offering and monetisation strategy: bundling, pricing, positioning to drive sustainable growth in paid subscribers and revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Own Pricing & Packaging Strategy: develop end‑to‑end pricing and tier packaging, ensuring competitiveness and commercial soundness.
- Define feature bundling: bundle existing and new features into clear, differentiated tiers.
- Stay on roadmap: optimise our monetisation and subscription model with product teams.
- Decision making & Cross‑Functional Leadership: collaborate with Product, Commercial, Lending and Analytics to scope and run experiments.
- Commercial & Financial Analysis: build feature‑level P&Ls and business cases; analyse conversion, retention, ARPU, LTV; run analysis hands‑on in Excel.
- Translate insight into propositions: work with User Research and Product Analysts to synthesize behavioural data into concrete pricing recommendations.
- Build & Scale the Function: hire and develop a team; define experimentation frameworks and guardrails; act as the internal authority on subscription monetisation.
- 6–10+ years in pricing, packaging, monetisation or product marketing.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen; track record of growing revenue.
- Hands‑on Excel: build models, scenarios and business cases yourself.
- Deep understanding of consumer subscription businesses.
- Strong product sense and value‑proposition design intuition.
- Experience running experiments inside or alongside product squads.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the US financial market preferred.
