Programme Overview

EY is committed to diversity and inclusion, offering a programme designed for first‑year university students (or second‑year on a four‑year course). The Black Heritage in Business programme aims to raise awareness among students who identify as Black, Black British, Caribbean, African, or Mixed Black ethnic groups. Participants develop skills, build networks, and connect with EY’s Black Community.

What you will be doing

• Developing your professional skills and personal strengths to propel your career.
• Exploring your interests, networking with peers, and asking questions.
• Learning from inspirational leaders who have carved impactful careers.
• Hearing from our EY Black Community about structured support, training, and opportunities.
• Gaining insight into your chosen business areas:
  Audit, Tax, EY‑Parthenon, and Technology.

Regardless of your chosen business area, our team supports you every step of the way. Attendance includes travel expense coverage and a one‑off payment for the event.

• Birmingham Hub – Birmingham, Bristol
• Edinburgh Hub – Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow
• London Hub – Cambridge, London, Luton, Reading, Southampton
• Leeds Hub – Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle

If you are interested in working in a particular area, apply to the hub location where you would want to be employed in the future. For the in‑person event, EY will cover reasonable travel costs.
