Company Description We are an experienced firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Edinburgh, but were not your average collar-and-tie people. While we pride ourselves on our high level of service and client retention, we are also driven in creating a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere. The successful candidate will learn how to support processes and procedures to become a vital member of our tax department.

This is a mixed role which will include both administration tasks and bookkeeping/tax work.

Core responsibilities:

Process new client procedures including preparation of engagement letters, obtaining anti-money laundering information etc Bookkeeping and Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions Preparation of basic tax returns and computations Registering and maintaining trust Communicating with clients Making and taking telephone calls Generating fees Scanning and saving records into our system
