Accounts & Business Advisory Manager

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice, is seeking a Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for working with charities, trusts, and innovative businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day client relationships and oversee client portfolio including review of statutory financial statements and management accounts
• Preparation of financial statements under FRS 102 (including 1A) and FRS 105.
• Conducting Independent Examinations.
• Managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
• Supporting junior team members through mentoring and training.
• Contributing to process improvements and implementation of new technologies.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of accounting and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in cloud-based bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
• Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA) or qualified by experience.
• Experience with charity and trust accounting.
• Familiarity with grant claim preparation.
• Prior involvement in mentoring or training team members.
