Delivery Driver

Minimum Requirements- Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle for deliveries
- Proof of car insurance
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses and navigate multi‑story buildings
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients and manage storage, walk‑in cooler and work area
- Prepare product including pizza and pizza dough
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Make correct monetary change
- Word, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside
- Fumes from food odors
- Exposure to cornmeal dust
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
- Driving — Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
- Standing — Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking — For short distances and short durations.
- Lifting — Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck; may include up to 50 lb with dimensions up to 3' × 1.5'.
- Carrying — Large cans weigh up to 7 lb; large pizza sauce may weigh 30 lb; trays of pizza dough weigh approximately 12 lb per tray.
- Pushing — Trays placed on dollies may weigh 24–30 lb and require up to 7.5 lb of force to push.
- Climbing — Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for maintenance tasks.
- Stooping / Bending — Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station; may repeat continuously during the day.
- Crouching / Squatting — Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
- Reaching — Continuous reaching up, down, and forward.
- Hand Tasks — Eye‑hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the day.
