Overview
$10.75 to $13.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
The best working hours in the business. Most stores open at 9AM and close at 6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Our Earned Wage Access program is available to all employees on the second day of employment, with access to withdraw up to 50% of the wages earned up to seven times in a payroll cycle. Ability to earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate.

Position:
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate. We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role involves greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assisting with customer inquiries and problem resolution.
The associates work with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The successful candidate will work with a team to provide a positive customer experience. The compensation includes an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.
- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise appropriately.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborate to create a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (as applicable).
- Ability to work at exterior locations or retrieve products stored elsewhere as needed.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math; cash handling experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; computer-literate with POS experience.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
Pay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements. Earned Wage Access is a service provided by Net Spend; signup is required; restrictions and fees apply. First Cash 401(k) program is available to all employees 21 years of age or older. Maximum base pay rate is derived from prior experience and skill sets.
