Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. We offer a wage plus commission structure and a range of benefits.
Pay: $10.75 to $13.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.41 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.
The associate will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns a hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.
- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains display of merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; supports a positive customer experience.
- Completes required training and performs other related duties as needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; strong desire to work and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
- Cash handling experience is preferred; computer literacy and POS systems familiarity.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; multiple locations may be required.
