Graduate Assistant

* Help manage correspondence with current and prospective students, including answering general questions about the program, admissions, and other inquiries

* Assist with application reviews, organizing materials for faculty, and maintaining records of admitted and current students

* Assist with coordinating and scheduling meetings for the Graduate Committee and other program-related meetings

* Maintain records of graduate student progress, ensuring that files are updated with advising completion, evaluation completion, exit exam/thesis progress, course completion, and other relevant information

* Responsible for scheduling, announcing, and monitoring comprehensive exam sessions

* Responsible for disseminating completed comprehensive exams to scorers and post scores for students

Required Qualifications

Must be admitted to a graduate Psychology degree program. Applicant should be enrolled in 9 hours over the Spring semester. Applicant should be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Preferred Qualifications

1) Knowledge of basic statistical analyses.

2) Ability to use SPSS to conduct statistical analyses.
