Warehousing Associate

1st Shift Warehouse worker. Supports the Production department and Shipping/Receiving by pulling lists, filling work orders, and other miscellaneous warehouse duties. Understands the work order process from the production office to shipping and maintains first in first out methods.

• Process work orders.
• Follow work schedules and pull inventory to fill work orders.
• Pull necessary chassis, brackets, etc from the warehouse and provide to production for assembly needs.
• Follow proper steps & guidelines when filling work orders.
• Understands that First in First Out inventory method.
• Rotate stock and/or consolidate pallets to remove overflow locations.
• Organize all metal (chassis, brackets, etc) upon receipt.
• Works with receiving, purchasing, and accounting groups to resolve receipt discrepancies based on quantity issues.
• Maintain an organized warehouse.

• Must be comfortable working with various computer systems.
• Must have demonstrated good planning, organizational skills and the ability to work logically and systematically with good time management.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload and manage incoming requests from various sources.
• Must have strong communication skills both verbally and written.
• Must be able to and like to work independently.
• Must be able to solve problems creatively.
• Fork lift experience is preferred but not required and training would be provided on the job.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of material planning or warehouse management preferred.
