Job OverviewThe IT Project Manager / Scrum Master will lead multiple Agile initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services domain. This role focuses on delivering high-quality IT projects, facilitating Scrum practices, tracking performance metrics, managing risks, and ensuring timely execution through strong stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple IT projects using standard project management methodologies.
- Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Standups, Planning, Grooming, Demos, Retrospectives).
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and upscale when needed.
- Define and report key project metrics and status updates.
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and other Scrum Masters.
- Prepare tailored project status reports for teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Maintain workflow diagrams, system documentation, and process flows.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 2+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience.
- Experience with tools like Jira, VSTS, ALM, or Version One.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong planning, scope management, and execution skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and similar tools.
- Experience with Agile collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- Advanced training or certification in the application domain.
- Experience with commercial banking platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
