Traffic Controller

AMKA Safety designs and manufactures traffic safety solutions to enhance roadway safety for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and workers. This full-time on-site role of Traffic Control Manager is based in Edina, MN. The Traffic Control Manager will coordinate, hire and oversee activities related to traffic management, including organizing proper placement of traffic control devices, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supervising workers, and efficiently managing traffic flow during road projects. The role involves liaising with team members, monitoring work progress, and promptly addressing challenges to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Experience with traffic control devices, project management, and compliance with safety regulations
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills to manage teams on-site
• Effective communication and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations
• Technical knowledge of road signage, pavement marking, and traffic barrier installations
• Familiarity with local and state traffic laws (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
