Resident Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide personal care and support to improve or maintain the physical and emotional well‑being of senior age residents at our assisted living facility in Edina, MN. CNA certification is not required unless the applicant is under 18 years old.

Schedule:

28 hours per two weeks; evening shift; every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday rotation.

Job duties include:

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of a nurse, providing health‑related services such as medication administration, glucose monitoring, temperature checks, blood pressure and pulse measurements.
• Performing additional duties such as laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assistance with activities.
• Observing residents and reporting status to appropriate staff.
• Assisting with onboarding of new staff.

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
• Must be CNA certified if under 18.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a formal NA or HHA course.

Pay rates within the posted range may vary based on skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. We prioritize pay equity and consider internal team equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
