CT Technologist - ADIT

Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Thursday from 7 PM – 3 AM. This position will include NO weekends and NO call, which will allow you to enjoy a 3‑day weekend!
If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11 PM – 7 AM, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age‑appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs individualized, compassionate patient care
• Performs high quality examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Verifies patient identification and documentation

• ARRT Radiology Tech Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

• 1 year or more years of experience in a related role
• Previous ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications in Imaging
• ARRT CT certification or successful completion within 18 months within 1‑1/2 Yrs
• Strong interpersonal skills.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
