Veronica Angell, MPS, LADC , is a licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor and supervised therapist based in Edina, Minnesota. She works with both individuals and couples, offering support for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, relationship challenges, and eating disorders. Veronica works with clients ages 13 and older, helping them move toward greater emotional clarity, resilience, and connection — both within themselves and in their relationships.

Veronica’s therapeutic style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. She believes that healing happens in the context of authentic human connection, and she strives to create a space where clients feel deeply seen and heard. Her work is grounded in a relational, trauma-informed approach that integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, and parts work.

She is particularly attuned to how early attachment patterns, life experiences, and systemic influences shape present-day emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

Veronica balances compassion with curiosity and directness. She supports clients in exploring stuck patterns with openness and non-judgment, while also gently challenging them to deepen their self-understanding and move toward change. Her work is holistic and person-centered, honoring the mind–body connection, the importance of context, and each client’s unique story and strengths. Veronica offers both in-person and telehealth appointments and is available most weekdays, with some evening and weekend availability.

She also offers a free 15-minute consultation to determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit.
