Specialist, Lands & Rightof Way (ROW) plays a critical role in supporting Enbridge's operations by providing expert quality assurance, interpreting applicable legislation and regulatory requirements, and overseeing complex or high-profile projects. This role requires a deep understanding of regional operations, real property, land title, and land rights acquisition, along with the ability to interpret easements, leases, contracts, and other real property documents.

- Provide direction and oversight by implementing and monitoring company policies, procedures and guidelines regarding rights-of-way, permits, and land activities to ensure compliance. Recommend and implement changes as needed.
- Assist with development of departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare cost estimates and schedules for the land rights portion of projects.
- Provide land service expertise for permit acquisition activities and track progress for transmission, environmental, and engineering projects to meet schedules and budgets.
- Ensure land/easement documents are properly executed and ensure recordation and filing where appropriate.
- Liaise with internal teams, governments, regulators, landowners, occupants, and the public.
- Provide guidance on protection of easement rights, acquisition through condemnation, and handling of property damage claims related to maintenance or construction.
- Participate in due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures and identify and communicate significant findings with recommended actions.
- Review and update the encroachment program to protect existing rights of way.
- Maintain relationships with right-of-way counterparts at other transmission companies to share awareness of problems and trends.
- Review and route documents for execution (procedural changes, contracts, easement amendments, licenses, etc.).
- Assist in managing real property within the geographical area, including land acquisition, divestiture, and leaseholds.
- Work safely and participate in safety meetings; utilize Lands & Right of Way computer applications for documents and reporting.
- Participate in teams and task groups; collaborate with Management and Shared Services to improve department efficiencies.
- Support Operations during emergency response exercises and incidents in a front-line management capacity.
You have the following education & experience:
- Undergraduate Bachelor's degree and/or 10 years of experience in the right of way field, with preferably three years in a senior role.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Pipeline/Storage operations experience is a plus.
- Office environment; US field location travel is required.
- Hybrd work options available per policy; role requirements determine eligibility.
Physical: Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual and hearing requirements.
Mental: Ability to understand and apply instructions, solve problems, organize and prioritize work, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Compensation & Benefits (US Only)Salary: Ranges from $114,800 - $150,000 based on experience.
- Benefits: PPO & HSO plans; 12 US paid holidays + PTO; family illness days; military leave; benefits start on day 1.

- Pension: Cash Balance Pension plan with Enbridge contributions; fully paid by Enbridge; 4-11% pay credits based on age and service.
