, is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join their dynamic Credit team. This role is pivotal in evaluating and underwriting credit transactions across diverse industries, with a strong focus on healthcare, technology, and franchise. As a Senior Credit Analyst
, you will review and process credit transaction applications with exposures between $350K–$2M, making decisions within your assigned single signature authority and in compliance with Mitsubishi HC Capital credit policy. For transactions exceeding your authority, you will recommend terms to senior credit management. You will also support documentation, funding and collateral valuation processes and assist in onboarding and training new credit staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review applications for accuracy.
- Communicate with “clients” (vendors, dealers, brokers, customers, etc.) in a professional manner via phone or email.
- Research industries, markets, and equipment as necessary.
- Underwrite and decision transactions generally ranging from $350,000 to $2,000,000 within designated authority.
- Provide recommendations to senior members of the credit team on transactions above designated authority.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Obtain and analyze public and private information such as Dun & Bradstreet reports, Paynet reports, Secretary of State corporate name verifications, Credit Bureau reports, etc.
- Review and spread financial statements to provide formative analysis regarding performance and trends.
- 5+ years’ experience of commercial credit/lending underwriting and financial statement analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience in underwriting healthcare, IT, or franchise lending industries.
- Credit approval authority of $500K–$1M.
- Proven ability to review, understand, and communicate financial statements and utilize data to risk‑rate transactions.
- Prior single signature approval authority within a risk finance investment environment.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.
- Collections background is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions within company policy.
COMPENSATION: $76,000 – $89,000; based on experience. This role is also eligible for a year‑end bonus.
