Gpac has partnered with a mechanical contractor looking to add a Process Piping Drafter to their team. They are looking for some that will support the permit, construction, and fabrication drawing development for piping systems.

Process Piping Drafter Responsibilities:

• Provide drafting and design services by preparing, coordinating, maintaining engineering, fabrication, and construction drawings for mechanical piping systems.
• Produce mechanical piping drawings for the purpose of permitting, fabrication, and constructability to support manufacturing and facilities.
• Responsible for creating detailed pipe process routing models, spool drawings and bill of materials for process or mechanical piping systems.
• Provide creative ideas regarding pre-construction, off-site fabrication, and pipe routing.

Process Piping Drafter

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of detailing and/or coordination experience in mechanical piping design and/or pipe fitting/fabrication
• Field drafting, mechanical, or operational experience in a refinery or other industrial setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proficient with Revit, preference for experience with Sys Que for Revit, and Autodesk platforms.
