Application Engineer Entry‑Level Position | Minneapolis, MNAre you passionate about robotics, automation, and technology? Ready to kickstart your career at the forefront of industry innovation? As an Application Engineer at Asyril, you’ll become a key player in solving technical challenges, supporting a diverse range of customers across multiple industries, and collaborating closely with our small, dynamic team.
Your Role- Support our sales team by conducting and documenting engineering feasibility studies for a wide range of customer applications.
- Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support to customers and distribution partners.
- Utilize and update our expansive knowledge database, collaborating with the team to quickly resolve technical issues.
- Work on occasional side projects building and programming robotic pick‑and‑place demos for trainings, trade shows, and events.
- Deliver technical training sessions to distributors and partners, both remotely and through occasional in‑person travel.
- A 2 or 4‑year technical degree (Industrial Automation, Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience (internships and co‑op experiences count!). Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience or strong interest in Robotics, Automation, and Machine Vision.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling & 3D printing is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English (French and/or Spanish are a plus).
- An enthusiastic team player who’s customer‑focused, organized, responsible, and self‑motivated.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (~one 3‑day trip every other month); valid driver’s license required.
