First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Edina Branch team in Edina, Minnesota. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys supporting others, values organization and accuracy, and takes pride in providing high-quality administrative and office support in a growing branch environment.

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and office support to the Edina branch team. This role supports day-to-day branch operations, assists with accounts payable and travel coordination, and helps execute administrative components of events and community initiatives. The position plays a key role in maintaining an organized, professional office environment and supporting branch growth.

Department: Edina Branch Location: Edina, MN Salary Range: $25 - $40 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for clients and visitors, in person and by phone.
  • Provide general administrative support to branch leadership, lenders, and staff.
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) support for the branch and related teams.
  • Coordinate travel logistics including hotel research, reservations, and event‑related arrangements.
  • Support the administrative aspects of client events, sponsor ships, and community initiatives (catering, invitations, tickets, branded items, supplies).
  • Collaborate with Marketing on logistics for event invitations, customer giveaways, and branded materials.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of internal meetings, branch events, and customer events.
  • Prepare agendas, correspondence, reports, and other business documents.
  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, and scheduling support as needed.
  • Order office supplies, coordinate catering, and maintain a professional office environment.
  • Support office moves, renovations, or space planning initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and ongoing operational support as the branch continues to grow.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in an administrative assistant or professional office support role is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple leaders or teams with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks independently, anticipate needs, and follow through with minimal direction.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel, or office operations is a plus.
