The Accounting Office Assistant reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and provides administrative and accounting support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role performs a wide range of office and accounting-related duties, including but not limited to the following:
- Assist with daily deposit processing and collaborate with the billing team to reconcile patient payments.
- Monitor month-end close schedule.
- Support month-end closing activities for subledgers and the general ledger.
- Create, maintain, and update fixed asset records within the accounting system.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department and business office management, including preparing reports and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with front desk staff, including Patient Service Representatives (PSRs), Care Coordinators, and other internal teams.
- Coordinate courier schedules for supplies, mail, and specimen pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate and manage mail distribution from satellite locations.
- Cross-train to support specific teams with workflow backlogs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
- Proficient understanding of entire Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel knowledge is required.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work well whether independently or as part of a team.
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting located in Edina.

Compensation& Work Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours/week.
- Non-Exempt.
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
- No evenings or weekends.
