We are currently hiring for a Compliance Auditor to work out of our Edina, MN office.

Auditors will have the opportunity to work from employer locations, legacy offices and remotely, as scheduling allows.
Position OverviewWe have developed an extensive department and maintain a full staff of compliance auditors dedicated exclusively to performing compliance audits. This department does not require employees to hold a CPA license at any level. In this position you will perform compliance audits for various fringe benefit funds to determine if an employer is contributing properly to the benefit funds on behalf of their employees.
Initial assignments will include assisting experienced compliance auditors on compliance audit engagements and performing a wide range of audit support functions.
- Read collective bargaining agreements and understand the basis upon which contributions should be made
- Prepare audit files and set appointments
- Perform fieldwork based on the compliance audit program
- Record payroll taxes
- Classify employees
- Record payroll
- Review bank records such as accounts payable/check register
- Prepare final audit report
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (Accounting, Finance or business majors preferred) or an associate’s degree with at least two years of related professional work experience
- Strong analytical, research and technical skills
- Strong computer skills such as Microsoft Excel
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to handle numerous assignments
- Familiarity with payroll systems and business checking accounts is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation to drive to employer locations for audit assignments; local travel and occasional out‑of‑town travel may be required
