St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for our 5‑day cardiac telemetry step‑down unit located within Edgewood Hospital. The unit is a 36‑bed team providing care to patients in a 24‑hour cardiac telemetry setting. The role requires full‑time commitment of 36 hours per week, primarily on the night shift (7 PM‑7 AM).

The licensed registered nurse is responsible for delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centered care and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients.
• Delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Providing culturally competent care and maintaining patient dignity, respect, and empathy.
• Monitoring patients’ telemetry data and responding to changes in condition.
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other team members to achieve positive outcomes.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active, current nursing license in the state of work; compact license acceptable.
• Experience or ability to practice in cardiac telemetry/step‑down settings.
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, and medication calculations.
• Ability to critically think, problem‑solve in routine and emergency situations.
