Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Driver

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to campus community members and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or campus officials as needed.;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.;
Monitor access points and check identification and/or credentials as required, helping to control entry, manage visitor access and support special events.;
Document security-related observations, incidents and corrective actions in detailed reports, and communicate updates to site leadership during shift turnover.
