The Corporate Manager of Retail Operations leads retail execution and the full-service brokerage strategy for Hormel. This role drives in‑store execution ROI through consistent measurement, data‑driven insights, and operational excellence. A team of five Retail Zone Managers reports to this position, along with an extended network of broker partners to ensure flawless retail execution and measurable sales impact.

• Lead & inspire a team of five Retail Zone Managers, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Manage retail execution and full‑service brokerage strategy to streamline processes and deliver retail business division plan.
• Manage annual operating plan (AOP) for retail execution and full‑service brokerage.
• Manage broker commission structure that fosters strong partnerships and achieves Hormel’s business results.
• Evaluate broker network effectiveness and manage structural changes as agreed by leadership.
• Align broker partners on execution priorities and labor strategies to maximize in‑store impact, while staying within AOP budget.
• Implement merchandising standards, measurement, and rally resources around tentpole promotional programs nationally.
• Partner with sales leadership, marketing, and category teams to translate strategy into actionable retail programs, including point‑of‑purchase display planning.
• Coach sales managers to negotiate broker contracts and manage KPIs to ensure accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in retail operations, execution, or field sales within CPG (food industry strongly preferred).
• Proven leadership experience managing multi‑level teams and third‑party partners.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret retail data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40% nationally.

A comprehensive relocation package to the Eden Prairie, MN area will be offered if required.

Base hiring pay range: $117,900 – $165,050 per year
. Actual base pay within that range depends on job‑related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
