Prep Cook As a True Friends Prep Cook, you'll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for campers, guests, and staff. you'll help prepare meals, assist with a variety of food service tasks, and maintain a clean kitchen environment. This hands-on, team-oriented role is rewarding, allowing you to contribute to the success of our camp and the enjoyment of all our guests.
Schedule: Part-time, year-round, weekday/weekend, day/night shift
Pay: $14.60 p/hr
Location: In person - Camp Eden Wood, Eden Prairie, MN

- Prepare, cook, bake, and serve meals in alignment with menus, recipes, and production requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Clear, wash, dry, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher
- Set up and reset the dining area for meal services
- Assist with kitchen and food service operations as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to pass an organizational background study
- Minimum age of 16 years or older
- Food service experience is preferred
- Desire to learn and gain experiences in a culinary environment
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- High school diploma preferred
- Physical demands
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and move continually during working hours
- Ability to feel objects and use fingers to operate tools and controls
