IT Support Specialist

Description

As a member of the IT Support team you will be providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. You will also respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. This position will collaborate with front- and back-end developers, front-end designers, database analysts, project managers, and other employees.

This role is located in Eden Prairie, MN and is an onsite/in-person role.

• Provide technical assistance and support (both in person and over the phone) for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• User onboarding/offboarding set‑up.
• Security user, group, and permissions management.
• Write training manuals and train computer users.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Ask questions to determine the nature of a problem.
• Install, modify, clean, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
• Resolve technical problems with LAN, WAN, and other systems.

• Degree in Computer Science or related educational background.
• 2 years or more experience in IT Support.

Starting pay range for this position is $26,000 – $38,000 based on experience.
