Winnebago Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer of Data & AI based in our Eden Prairie, MN location. This role is hybrid. The Sr. Engineer of Data and AI will be responsible for supporting strategic Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Integration (DI), Business Intelligence (BI), and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives across the Winnebago Industries enterprise. This role involves analyzing and integrating data, creating models, running simulations, and ensuring data platforms are efficient, cost‑effective, and aligned with enterprise strategies.
The role will partner with business and technical subject matter experts to ensure the standardization and execution of enterprise‑wide data governance policies and procedures, the development of Master Data, and the creation of AI models for large language models (LLMs) to drive business decisions with data. Beyond individual contribution, the role will mentor and guide the work of a managed service operations team, ensuring alignment to organizational objectives, consistent execution, and the successful delivery of scalable, high‑impact data and AI solutions.
to Day of the Role
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and AI solutions using Azure and Databricks to help influence and drive platform strategy/roadmaps.
- Develop and operationalize LLM/ML/AI capabilities into pipelines/workflows that continuously improve output quality and performance as use cases evolve.
- Establish and enforce master data management, enterprise data standards/definitions, and data quality practices; drive data cleansing/integrity initiatives and support MDM tool enablement.
- Leverage Dev/Sec/Ops best practices—including CI/CD, automated testing, and automation—to increase delivery speed and operational stability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams and data professionals across the organization, fostering a culture of best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support and operate existing / legacy data platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical designs that deliver measurable business value.
- Other duties as assigned based on business need.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience is necessary for this role, specifically in the areas of designing, implementing, and maintaining data and analytics capabilities using Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Python or comparable technologies.
- This position may require travel to other Winnebago locations.

This posting includes a range of the salary across a geographical market. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
