C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Data Scientist on our Matching team to uncover predictions from data and drive real‑time recommendations to our users and software platforms. In this role, you will work with a small team to leverage large language models (LLMs) to automate a variety of business tasks. You will translate a business opportunity into a data‑science question, use your mathematical and statistical toolset to model relevant data, and prove the impact of your algorithm. Finally, you will work with a team of machine learning engineers and software developers to take R&D code to production.

• Evaluate and understand current & nascent modelling methods in the Data Science space
• Maintain, expand, and ensure the data quality of natural language
• Train and evaluate Large Language Models on a variety of topics
• Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver new Natural Language Processing & Artificial Intelligence products
• Develop new features for existing algorithms through statistical and machine learning methodologies
• Validate and implement modeling improvements to increase accuracy of data science algorithms
• Embrace an R&D mindset through Rapid Prototyping &职责 Iterative Experimentation
• Work closely with Tech delivery teams to product ionize successful models in an on‑demand environment

• 2+ years of experience in advanced analytics, machine learning and/or data science or one year of professional experience with an advanced degree (Masters or Ph草D)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Familiarity with transfer learning & large language models
• Experience transforming datasets to improve model performance
• Experience training neural networks, especially as it relates to transfer learning
• Experience in programming:
  Python or R
• Familiarity with data fundamentals including SQL
