** EVS is looking for an Engineering Associate II – Water Resources to join our growing civil and renewable energy teams. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working with real-world data, building hydrologic and hydraulic models, and contributing to site designs that support utility-scale renewable energy projects. You’ll take on increasing ownership of modeling and reporting while continuing to grow your technical depth and professional confidence.##

** What You’ll Do
** Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models using tools like QGIS and HEC-RAS with minimal supervision.  Translate survey, geotechnical, and regulatory data into clear, accurate digital models and reports.  Support design teams with calculations for culverts, drainage features, stormwater systems, and grading optimization.  Prepare hydrology and stormwater reports that are clear, accurate, and compliant with project and regulatory requirements.  Perform quality control reviews of junior staff work, providing constructive feedback and technical guidance.  

Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.  Contribute to continuous improvement of modeling workflows, documentation, and QA/QC practices.##
** What You’ll Bring
** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.  1–4 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, or related civil engineering work.  Proficiency with QGIS or Arc Map for data processing and map generation.  Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering principles.  Experience working with engineering standards, permitting requirements, and local or state regulations.  Comfort using Microsoft Office and Bluebeam for documentation and QA/QC.  

Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.  Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.##
