Key Responsibilities:

Assess the volume and type of data to be migrated and understand the new system requirements.

Develop a detailed data migration plan and strategy that includes methodologies for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Prepare the data for migration, which includes data cleansing, data auditing, data validation, and addressing data compatibility issues.

Design and implement scripts and tools for data migration.

Execute the data migration process while minimizing downtime and interruptions.

Verify and validate the migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify and resolve data migration issues, such as data discrepancies or data loss.

Collaborate with other IT teams, project stakeholders, and end-users to ensure successful data migration.

Document the data migration process for future reference and for auditing purposes.

Provide post-migration support to monitor the system and address any data-related issues.

Required

Skills and Experience:

Must Have:

Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF) (Proficient), Azure Databricks (Proficient)

10+ Years of experience candidates required

Extensive experience in data migration projects.

Strong understanding of database technologies and data analysis.

Proficiency in ETL tools and methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in database technologies or data management.

Experience with cloud platforms and data migration to cloud environments.

Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.

Knowledge on Azure Cloud.

Certification in Azure Cloud.
