Grace Kids Ministry Internship

Grace Church - Eden Prairie

Part-time - 20 hours/week

Pay: $20.00/hour

Hourly - Non-Exempt

Grace is a multi-site, non-denominational church committed to a workplace that equips interns with an excellent opportunity to experience ministry in a local church context. The Grace Kids intern is invited to bring new ideas as well as implement existing programs, assisting projects from inception to execution. The Grace Kids intern will work alongside the Grace Kids Team to accomplish the following:

• Effectively contribute to, communicate, and champion the vision for Grace Church as a whole, Grace Kids & NXT Gen ministries.
• Energize ministry through presence during live programming.
• Collaborate with Grace Kids Team for efficient and effective ministry.
• Collaborate with the Grace Kids Team for department-wide events and programming.
• Execute all tasks necessary to ensure successful programming on Sunday and VBS.
• Execute tasks as assigned by the NXT-UP/Elementary/Grace Kids Manager to prepare for and effectively execute VBS Trainings and Programming.
• Collaborate with Grace Kids Team to plan and carry out Discipler (volunteer) training and fall kickoff preparation, including curriculum prep, crafts, and other ministry details to ensure a successful fall launch.
• Assist with church-wide events.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Educational requirements:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in education or a ministry-related field preferred.

  Missions heart to share the Gospel and win the next generation for Jesus!
• Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church.
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
• Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
• Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
