Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate an HGV Class 1 (C+E) curtain side vehicle in Cardiff, Newport, and surrounding South Wales areas
 
* Complete 1 to 4 local deliveries per shift, ensuring timely and accurate service
 
* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly
 
* Secure loads in compliance with legal and company standards
 
* Adhere to UK and EU driving regulations and company health & safety policies
 
* Communicate professionally with transport planners and customers to ensure smooth operations
Driver Requirements:
 
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
 
* Minimum 1 year’s experience driving Class 1 vehicles (curtain side preferred)
 
* Strong knowledge of UK and EU driving regulations
 
* Reliable, professional with excellent timekeeping and communication skills
 
* Able to start shifts early between 05:00 and 08:00 and work independently
 
* Customer-focused attitude with a strong safety mindset

We welcome drivers from Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Barry, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Cwmbran, Llantrisant, and wider South Wales.
