Quality Manager – New Build Data Centre
6 Month Contract – Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support the delivery of a new build data centre project on a 6-month contract with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the project quality management system, ensuring all construction activities meet required standards, specifications and regulatory requirements. This is a key role working closely with the project management, engineering and subcontractor teams to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the build.
Key responsibilities include:
• Implement and maintain the project Quality Management System in line with ISO standards and company procedures
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and quality documentation
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and industry standards
• Carry out internal quality audits and inspections across construction and MEP works
• Manage quality records, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective actions
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated and achieved
• Support handover documentation and commissioning processes
• Work closely with the project team to drive continuous improvement and best practice on site
Requirements:
• Proven experience working as a Quality Manager on major construction or mission critical projects
• Previous experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other high-specification projects is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
• Experience managing ITPs, inspections, audits and quality documentation
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
