Accounts Assistant

We’re working with a successful and expanding UK business to recruit a proactive Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team and play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly.

Please note, candidates must be AAT Level 2-4 or equivalent qualified to be considered for this role.

What you'll be doing:

* Processing invoices and assisting with purchase ledger

* Reconciling accounts and supporting month-end tasks

* Handling customer and supplier queries

* Assisting with payment runs and credit control

* Maintaining accurate financial records

* Providing general support to the Finance Manager and wider team

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience in an Accounts or Finance Assistant role (or similar)

* AAT Level 2-4 or equivalent

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Advanced proficiency with Sage accounting software

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively

* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
