Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teaching Assistant ready to develop their leadership skills whilst supporting teaching and learning within the classroom. We are looking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learning through working closely with the class teacher to ensure effective teaching and learning.

You may be required to support the class in the short-term absence of a class teacher, ensuring that there is no detrimental effect to learning.

You will need to be flexible in providing both planned and unplanned support to meet the needs of our learners. The post would suit someone with flexibility, enthusiasm and sensitivity as well as an excellent understanding of ALN. The ideal candidate will have experience of effective classroom management techniques.

You will be supported by a compassionate middle and senior leadership team in order to develop your own leadership skills as you act as a mentor to Teaching Assistants new to the school.
