Overview

Join Veritas Steel as a Welder and play a vital role in the production of bridge girder components. This position involves welding, fabricating, and assembly operations requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to meet high production demands.

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–4:20 PM, Mon–Thu
• 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM–4:30 AM, Mon–Thu
• Weekend Shift: 5:00 AM–5:00 PM, Fri–Sun

Hourly pay $24.57–$28.05 based on shift. Double time after 50 hours per week.

• Execute high‑quality FCAW welding on structural steel in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for specific tasks.
• Fabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per project specifications.
• Utilize tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit of materials.

• Minimum 1 year welding experience; FCWA required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Commitment to workplace safety and active participation in safety culture.
• Quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performed.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to team success.
• Adherence to maintaining a dependable attendance record.
• Must be 18 years old to apply.

• Lift up to 75 lb occasionally; push/move up to 100 lb.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, work at heights; good range of motion.
• Indoor warehouse or outdoor all‑weather conditions; may climb heights.
• Exposed to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, heights.
• Required safety gear: safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, steel‑toed boots; respirator required for specific operations.
