Material Handler - Nights 12 hour shifts

Join Charter Next Generation as a Material Handler for 12‑hour night shifts. This role focuses on operating plastic extrusion equipment to produce high‑quality specialty films, monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to sustainable packaging solutions.

Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2‑2‑3 schedule:

  Wednesday & Thursday – Work:

  Wednesday & Thursday – Off:
  Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• 12‑hour static shifts (Nights – 6:00 pm to 6:00 am; Days – 6:00 am to 6:00 pm)

• Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Transfers finished rolls of film from an extrusion line.
• Packages/labels rolls per customer specifications.
• Removes scrap.
• Stocks production/packaging areas with necessary materials.
• Maintains good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co‑workers.

Essential:

• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of plastic extrusion experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Previous manufacturing experience.

• Wages ranging from $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
