The In Home Service Tech travels to customer’s homes using a company vehicle to assess, repair, or exchange damaged furniture. The role requires listening to customer concerns to accurately address and resolve them and documenting repairs and future needs for the service room.

• The In Home Service Tech travels to customer’s homes using a company vehicle to assess, repair, or exchange damaged furniture.
• In order to ensure customer satisfaction, the In Home Service Tech must listen to customer concerns in order to accurately address and resolve them.
• The In Home Service Tech must provide precise documentation of repairs done and future repairs needed to the service room.
• Other duties as assigned.

• $20.00 - $22.00 an hour

• Education: Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Licenses
  
  Required:
  
  Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience: Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time. The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull, both individually and as a team, items up to 150 pounds  employee often operates power tools, including stationary power tools, in a safe manner. The employee must accurately match colors on finishes.
  
  The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
• Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
