Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Summary

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment in a hospital setting. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, floors, and washrooms, and responding to guest queries and housekeeping problems.

• Provide quality customer service with one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery; shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings; clean metal fixtures.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries, requests, and housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, colleagues, and other associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Full‑time schedule: 3:00 pm–11:30 pm or 10:00 pm–6:30 am; days may vary. More details provided during interview.

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour.
