Are you passionate about digital innovation, data insights, and creating seamless online experiences? Become a Digital Experience Intern at Royal Credit Union! In this role, you’ll support digital product optimization, enhance our chatbot and communication tools, and help elevate the Member journey through meaningful analytics and user ‑ focused improvements.

All applicants must be located in the Chippewa Valley Area & include a resume, cover letter, transcript and their anticipated graduation date when applying. If selected for the internship, you must be able to commit to the full 12 months and be enrolled at a university or technical college throughout the length of the internship. Must be able to work onsite at the Royal Credit Union Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI, throughout the school year and during breaks.

What You’ll Do:

The Digital Experience intern will provide overall support to the Digital Experience team by assisting with data analytics, digital products and user experience, and communication management.

Our Commitment To You:

  • Compensation: $19.56 - 21.91 per hour (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

Intern Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Support chatbot improvements by analyzing interaction data and expanding its knowledge base.
  • Assist with digital communications, including email development and drip campaigns.
  • Contribute to digital product enhancement through market research, journey mapping, and performance metric analysis.
  • Help evaluate and optimize digital tools, services, and Member experiences.
  • Provide general digital support to the team while meeting assigned goals and adhering to required compliance procedures.

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • Enrolled at a University throughout the length of the internship, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing Technology, Information Communication Technology, or other related field
  • Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms, with readiness to apply these in email creation and digital experience work
  • Strong critical‑thinking skills with the ability to analyze performance metrics, evaluate digital experiences, and identify meaningful opportunities for optimization.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to contribute effectively to team projects and share insights across the department.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines in a high‑volume environment, and maintaining strong attention to detail.
