Overview

The Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Supervisor provides programmatic and administrative supervision in the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program in compliance with Wisconsin Administrative code DHS 36. With the expanded growth in CCS additional supervision is needed to ensure quality and effective clinical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates motivational leadership to provide administrative supervision of staff working in the CCS program; trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff; coordinates case assignment to align with productivity standards; provides feedback and coaching to staff to promote quality, ethical, and comprehensive services to participants; consults and problem-solves challenging participant concerns
  • Evaluates employee performance; coaches, and counsels staff to achieve improved performance and productivity; recommends corrective disciplinary action as needed; identifies individual training needs in order to achieve greater departmental performance and productivity; facilitates techniques of dealing with individuals who are mentally ill, elderly, developmentally or physically disabled, or alcohol or other drug abusers.
  • Interprets and administers federal, state, and county laws, rules, regulations, and standards to perform leadership role in client and clinical staffing; plans and implements pertinent programs; ensures compliance with state statutes and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Employs team collaboration and contribution expertise; serves as member of multi-disciplinary treatment team serving clients, some of whom are involuntary and resistive to services.
  • Identifies full range of client needs through thorough investigation and assessment; differentiates between medical, psychological, vocational, social, familial, daily living spheres, and substance use disorders.
  • Designs individual service program to establish crisis intervention services for individuals in mental health crisis; involves and directs other program personnel in individual case management.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with individuals with substance use and/or mental health concerns.
  • One (1) year of previous leadership experience.
  • Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of criminal and caregiver background checks.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and access to private transportation for work-related duties.
  • Must possess and maintain personal automobile insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000
