HVAC Designer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site assessments to gather information on existing HVAC systems and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into commercial building designs.
• Design and layout HVAC systems for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Prepare accurate and detailed HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project specifications, energy efficiency, and client needs.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in HVAC design.
• Ensure that all HVAC designs meet environmental and energy efficiency standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid state license for HVAC design.
• Proven experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial projects.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality designs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
