Position Summary
The Management Internship is a hands‑on training experience at one of our locations throughout the Midwest. If selected for the Program, you will be placed in one of our production facilities to work directly with an experienced management team. They will teach you the necessary skills to be successful with Midwest Manufacturing.
Job DescriptionYou will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects such as Lean/Continuous Improvement, Safety, SOP writing, process improvement, quality, efficiency, etc. You will develop stronger organizational, communication and time management skills, as well as gain hands‑on management experience.
Qualifications- Degree pursuing in one of the following concentrations (or something similar):
Operations/Facility Management, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. - Open availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer or 20–32 hours per week during the academic school year.
- Desire to pursue a management/operations career.
- Enthusiasm and drive to be successful.
