Investment Analyst

Overview

Position Title: Investment Analyst. The Investment Analyst plays a crucial role in conducting thorough research and analysis of investment products, including mutual funds and ETFs. This position involves evaluating various investment opportunities within publicly traded markets and performing comparative analyses to identify optimal options. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in advanced Excel, and skilled in data analytics. A strong desire to learn and grow within the industry will be beneficial for success in this role.

• Research investment products such as mutual funds and ETFs
• Perform comparative analysis of investments to identify the best options
• Prepare detailed Excel spreadsheets for data analysis
• Rebalance portfolios and evaluate cash balances
• Prepare reports for client meetings, including unrealized gains and losses
• Assist with year-end tax planning and collaborate with external CPA firms if tax experience is present

• 2-3+ years of experience in wealth management
• Ability to rebalance portfolios and evaluate cash balances
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Bachelor's degree
• Series 65 is preferred
• Tax experience or background is preferred
• Estate planning experience is preferred
